Hope you guys had a fun Halloween! I know I did! I don’t think that I ever went all out like I did this year! not even when I was a kid. The last time I dressed up and went trick or treating was when I was in secondary 2! I had lots of fun putting all of this together and I will definitely use the wig again. New Years maybe?

John Galliano kept the creative spirit alive for Dior, with a 60s inspired collection. Now I know that there has been a lot of bashing on Galliano about this collection, either you love it or hate it. I think that it’s simply Galliano, his creativity is over the edge and recognizable, if it does’t make people talk it’s not Galliano. I love it.

Every where you look there’s plaid, its time to take out your plaid jacket, skirt, blazer, what ever you put away and though you wouldn’t wear again, its time to dust them off and flaunt it! This is why you never get rid of all those fad fashions, because they always make a comeback even if it is just for one season.

Yesterday was the last night of Montreal Fashion Week, I had seen 2 shows, Soia & Kyo and Denis Gagnon. I knew that it was a bad sign when it took me half an hour to find parking, but luckily the parking lot right across the street from Bonsecours market had let me in, the man was holding an orange cone and had laid it down behind my car, yelling to the rest “complet complet” I felt so bad for the line of cars waiting behind me. There were so many people that night it was completely jammed every where you turned, but it was definitely the best night of the week.

Tis the season to wrap it up!! no I am not jumping to Christmas just yet I mean scarves! you gotta have them! any size and shape are welcomed, wide & long, skinny, even square. Scarves are my favorite accessory, you just can’t go wrong, theres no right or wrong way to tie or wrap it, and its an accessory that can really complete a look without spending more than 1 minute! Grab, wrap, & go! no mirrors needed!

Hey fashionistas! There was so much traffic it took me 2 hours to arrive at Bonsecours market! Unfortunately I had missed the jewelry show from Caroline Neron, but I made it to Envers by Yves Jean Lacasse, he presented a collection of sexy sophisticated pieces for women & men. His inspiration came from the Greek & Roman costumes.

If you want to see some pictures go check out the MFW site. I tried taking pictures but the models were walking too fast I didn’t get any good ones, sorry!

Hello Hello!!!

So today was my first day at MFW and it was amazing, lots of Montreal designers, great hair/make-up artist, loads of media, and great looking people :) The Eska dresses look super! I’m so happy with the completed look! I will post pictures as soon as I get them, but for now I wanted to tell you what I saw today! I noticed a lot of metallic fabrics, famous colors were black & silver. I also saw really bright pinks and purples (almost neon) hands up for the 80s!!

I had just finished a project for Eska (3 hours ago) to design 3 tops and skirts with Eska brand aluminum!! talk about a challenge! not only that, I only had 3 days to sew it on! dispite all of the craziness I still managed, and just being able to go to MFW is well worth it ALL!!!

Heres a little sneak peek
